National Hispanic Hepatitis Awareness Day 2023

May 15 is National Hispanic Hepatitis Awareness Day (NHHAD), an opportunity to highlight the impact of viral hepatitis on the Hispanic/Latinx community in the U.S. The Latino Commission on AIDS (LCOA) leads this annual initiative to promote understanding about viral hepatitis within the Hispanic/Latinx community and advocate for advancements in addressing viral hepatitis-related health disparities.

HepVu and LCOA are hosting a webinar on Monday, May 15 at 2:00PM ET about Hepatitis C surveillance in Hispanic/Latinx communities. The webinar will feature presentations from Luis Mares, LMSW from LCOA and Dr. Heather Bradley from Emory Rollins School of Public Health. You can register for the webinar here.
